Clayton receives 6th Manufacturer of the Year Award! - March 30, 2005
Clayton Homes won MHI's Manufacturer of the Year for an unprecedented sixth consecutive year
and received four other prestigious awards. For the first time, three of its retail company's sales
locations were named MHI Retail Sales Centers of the Year and the company received an MHI

Clayton to Acquire Assets of Fleetwood Retail Operations - July 7, 2005
Clayton Homes, the nation's largest retailer of manufactured housing, today announced
that it has signed an asset purchase agreement to acquire the majority of the assets of
Fleetwood Retail Corporation (FRC), including inventory and current and fixed assets,
for 123 retail stores in 21 states. The stores are concentrated in California, Washington,
Oregon, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia, Mississippi and Tennessee.
